This 1965 Volvo 1800S race car is based on a tube-frame chassis and was reportedly built by Kingpin Engineering in British Columbia to compete in the Confederation of Autosport Car Clubs in Canada. Power is from a turbocharged 2.3-liter Volvo inline-four paired with a Saenz five-speed manual transmission. The car was purchased by the selling dealer on BaT in October 2016 and subsequently relocated from British Columbia to Pennsylvania. The selling dealer states that the car has raced in five races across two events in Canada and has not been tracked since their purchase. This 1800S race car is now offered by the selling dealer with a Sports Car Club of British Columbia logbook and a Pennsylvania bill of sale.

Bassett Wide Five steel racing wheels feature aluminum Wilwood hubs and wear Goodyear racing slicks. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood brakes, and the suspension consists of wishbones up front and a solid axle with a limited-slip differential and Speedway Engineering quick-change gears at the rear.
The interior has been stripped and fitted with a roll cage and a fire-suppression system. The car is equipped with a single racing bucket seat and a five-point Sabelt harness that expired following the 2018 racing season. The battery is located in the passenger compartment.
The quick-release steering wheel fronts a custom dashboard housing AutoMeter gauges, a brake adjuster, a starter button, and more.
The turbocharged 2.3-liter Volvo inline-four is paired with a Saenz five-speed manual transmission and features an intercooler, dry-sump lubrication, an aluminum radiator, a Simple Digital System engine management system, and a GReddy boost controller. According to the selling dealer, the engine develops approximately 300 horsepower at 13 psi of boost. The sale includes manuals and spare parts, along with additional wheels and tires.
