This 1975 Volvo TGB 1111 was purchased from a Colorado importer by the seller in 2007, subsequently sold to a friend in 2010, and reacquired two years ago. Power is from a 3.0-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case, and the truck features portal axles, locking differentials, and a roll cage as well as an insulated vinyl top, Corbeau Racing seats, 17″ wheels with 37″ tires, LED lighting, a digital speedometer, and aftermarket ignition components. This TGB 1111 is offered with a Utah title in the name of the seller’s business.
Originally army green, the truck was repainted in flat black with removable vinyl graphics under current ownership. Features include fold-down windshield panes, a roll cage, an insulated vinyl top with roll-up windows, aftermarket side mirrors, and LED lighting as well as a custom rear bumper with a hitch and recovery points.
Eight-lug 17″ wheels wear 37″x12.5″ Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires, including the spare mounted to the custom carrier at the rear.
A narrated video above details exterior and interior features along with including a driving demonstration.
A rubberized coating was applied to the floors prior to installation of five Corbeau Racing seats. Additional features include two folding rear jump seats, a rear heater, and more. The center console features switches for controlling the four-wheel drive system and differential lockers.
A digital speedometer and odometer reading just under 300 miles has replaced the stock analog version, which is photographed showing 33k kilometers (~20k miles) in the gallery below.
The 3.0-liter Volvo B30 inline-six is mounted between the front seats and has been modified with aftermarket ignition components as well as replacement exhaust components.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox, a two-speed transfer case with shift-on-the-fly capability, portal axles, and locking differentials. Corrosion is noted on the leaf springs. Videos from trips to Moab, Utah in 2008 are viewable below.
