1992 Volvo 240 Wagon

This 1992 Volvo 240 wagon is finished in green over beige cloth upholstery and is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a rear wiper, a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, central locking, power windows, and 14″ wheels. The car spent time in several states and was previously sold on BaT in February 2018 before it was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2022. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included changing the fluids and replacing the timing belt, water pump, tires, and accessory belts. This 240 wagon shows 85k miles and is now offered in New York with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a Vermont registration.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in beige cloth, which are accented by color-coordinated carpets and door panels in addition to a black dashboard. Equipment includes air conditioning, a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a locking storage compartment located in the floor of the cargo area as well as power windows and locks.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 85k miles, approximately 150 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 2.3-liter B230 inline-four was factory rated at 114 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer states that the fluids were changed and that the timing belt, water pump, and accessory belts were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Ohio, Florida, Texas, and Vermont.

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its registration.
