This 1971 Volvo 1800E is finished in red over tan vinyl upholstery and is powered by a fuel-injected 2.0L inline-four mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes aftermarket 15″ wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a luggage rack, dual side mirrors, a heater/defroster, and a Clarion CD stereo. The car was acquired by the seller in September 2020, and subsequent work included refurbishing the interior and trunk compartment as well as replacing the alternator, spark plugs, distributor cap, fuel pump, and fuel sending unit. This 1800E is now offered with parts receipts from current ownership and Georgia registration in the seller’s name.

The car was finished from the factory in Gold Metallic (105) and was repainted in red under prior ownership. Features include dual side mirrors, a trunk-mounted luggage rack, mud flaps, and a single exhaust outlet. The bumpers and trim were removed under previous ownership. Bubbling paint is noted on the right-rear quarter panel.

Aftermarket 15″ wheels are mounted with 195/60 Goodyear Assurance tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs.

The cabin features seats reupholstered in tan vinyl along with a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a woodgrain dash, a heater/defroster, a Clarion CD stereo, and door-panel speakers. The seller notes that the headlight switch is broken and requires replacement.

A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a replacement instrument cluster that includes a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline and a 140-mph speedometer. Auxiliary gauges are mounted atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 138k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.

The fuel-injected 2.0L B20E inline-four was rated at 130 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque when new. Work under current ownership included replacement of the spark plugs, distributor cap, fuel pump, and fuel sending unit. The alternator was replaced in June 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, and corrosion is noted on some underbody components.

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for vehicles of its age. It is being sold on its Georgia registration.
