This 1992 Volvo 240 Wagon was purchased new by the seller’s father in 1992 and has remained within the same family in Pennsylvania since. Power is provided by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and it is finished in white over blue vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, roof rails, a rear wiper, heated front seats, power windows, and cruise control. This 240 wagon is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in white with black bumpers and trim, and features include roof rails, mud flaps, a rear wiper, and a single exhaust outlet. Areas of corrosion in the wheel wells, dents in the left-rear and front-right wheel arches, paint flaws on the front-right door, a crack in the left taillight, and other flaws are shown in the gallery below.

Steel 14″ wheels wear Volvo-branded covers and 195/75 Kelly Explorer Plus tires showing 2012 date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features heated front bucket seats and a folding rear bench upholstered in blue vinyl along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a locking glove box, cruise control, and power windows. The cassette stereo is locked with a code, and stains are noted in the cargo area.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a central 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and supplementary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 170k miles. The speedometer was most recently replaced in April 2010, and a May 2010 entry on the Carfax report indicates a potential odometer rollback. True mileage is unknown.

The 2.3-liter inline-four was factory rated at 114 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt was replaced in April 2014.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.

Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with service records that can be viewed in the gallery.

The Carfax report has the aforementioned May 2010 potential odometer rollback entry, shows no accidents or other damage, and lists history in Pennsylvania.
