This 1990 Volvo 240 DL wagon is finished in Light Blue Metallic and powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four that drives the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. It has been fitted with Koni shocks, chassis braces, and IPD lowering springs and sway bars and is further equipped with 15″ Virgo five-spoke alloy wheels, a front spoiler, mudflaps, and roof rails with crossbars. The heated front bucket seats are upholstered in blue vinyl, and the cabin is also appointed with power windows, a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a rear-facing third-row bench seat. The seller acquired the wagon out of Washington in 2024 and it now shows 239k miles. This 240 DL wagon is now offered at no reserve with a tool kit, a summary of recent service, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The five-door body came factory-finished in Light Blue Metallic (410) with black bumpers, lowering cladding, and bodyside moldings. Additional exterior details include a front spoiler, mudflaps, and roof rails with cross bars as well as a right quarter-panel vent and a rear hatch with heated glass and a wiper. The windows were tinted in 2022, and the seller notes the hood is misaligned on the driver’s side. Photos showing paint blemishes on various body panels can be viewed in the gallery.

The 15″ Virgo five-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with 205/60 Mastercraft Stratus tires in January 2021. IPD lowering springs and Koni shocks have been installed at each corner, and additional modifications include chassis braces and an IPD panhard rod, sway bars, and bushings. Braking is handled by power-assisted front and rear discs.

The heated front bucket seats and the rear bench are trimmed in blue vinyl and amenities include a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, power-operated windows, an aftermarket smartphone mount, and a lockable glovebox. The air conditioning system does not blow cold and the driver’s seat upholstery and door pockets are cracked.

The cargo area features a rear-facing folding bench seat upholstered in black vinyl. A compact spare is concealed behind the left wall, and a rubber mat lines the floor.

The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 239k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller. The cruise control system is inoperative.

The 2.3-liter inline-four was factory rated at 114 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torque of torque. A battery replacement and an oil change were carried out in 2024, and the car passed its most recent California emissions test in March of that same year.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage and begins with an April 1999 entry.
