This 1989 Volvo 240 sedan is said to have remained under the care of the original owner and their family until the seller’s purchase in 2024. Showing 63k kilometers (~39k miles), the car is finished in Light Blue over blue cloth upholstery and is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four linked with a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ multi-spoke wheels, heated front seats, power windows, and a cassette stereo. This 240 sedan is offered in Canada with a spare set of wheels, manufacturer’s literature, and Alberta registration.

The car is finished in Light Blue (410) and features mudguards and black window trim. A May 2006 entry on the Carfax report lists an accident with no additional information, and the seller states that the front bumper was subsequently repaired.

The silver 15″ multi-spoke wheels were reportedly sourced from a Volvo 740 and are mounted with Michelin Primacy tires. The car was factory-equipped with power steering as well as a MacPherson strut front suspension with coil springs and a live rear axle carried by longitudinal control arms and torque rods with coil springs. Stopping is provided by power-assisted front and rear discs.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in blue cloth, and interior appointments include heated front seats, a rear bench, power windows, and a cassette stereo.

The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 200-km/h speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 63k kilometers (~39k miles), approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.3-liter inline-four was factory rated at 114 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torque of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

A spare set of 14″ steel wheels with aerodynamic covers will accompany the sale along with manufacturer’s literature.

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned December 2006 accident.

The vehicle does not have a title and is being sold on its Alberta registration, which serves as the ownership document in Alberta, Canada.
