This 1992 Volvo 240 wagon spent time in New Jersey, Connecticut, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas before it was acquired by the seller on BaT in December 2022. Finished in white over blue vinyl, the car is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with a rear window wiper, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ alloy wheels, air conditioning, central locking, and power windows along with a Pioneer stereo. This 240 wagon is offered with a Carfax report and a Texas title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in white with black trim, and the seller states that a ceramic paint coating product was applied in 2024. Exterior details include a rear window wiper, a receiver hitch, mud flaps, and black bumpers. Accidents under previous ownership reportedly resulted in body repairs and paintwork on the right-rear quarter panel. Scratches, chips, and dents are visible around the car, and rust perforation is visible in the left-rear door jamb. The windshield washer fluid dispenser is inoperative, the passenger-side brake light remains illuminated while driving, and the aftermarket roof crossbar keys are missing.

White-finished 15″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 195/65 Michelin Defender tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Creaking and popping noises reportedly emanate from the suspension.

The seats are upholstered in blue vinyl and are accompanied by color-coordinated carpets and door panels in addition to a black dashboard. Appointments include air conditioning, a Pioneer stereo, central locking, and power windows as well as aftermarket gauges in the center stack. Photos show broken trim near the driver’s seatbelt, and the CD player is inoperative.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 177k miles, and the seller estimates having driven 1k miles under current ownership. The ABS light is illuminated, and the speedometer and odometer are inoperative. The Carfax report notes that a “Not Actual Mileage” title was issued by the state of Texas in January 2023. Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.3-liter B230 inline-four produced 114 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torque when new, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Work under previous ownership is said to have included replacing the rear U-joint along with the water pump, alternator, drive belts, spark plugs, and ignition wires. The seller states that the oil and the battery have been changed under current ownership. The passenger-side engine mount is worn.

Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, displays the aforementioned January 2023 “Not Actual Mileage” title issuance, and lists history in New Jersey, Connecticut, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas.

The Texas title lists “Not Actual Mileage” under the “Remarks” heading.
