This 1969 Volvo 1800S has been refinished in metallic black over tan leather and is powered by a 2.0-liter B20 inline-four equipped with dual Stromberg carburetors and mated to a four-speed manual transmission with Laycock de Normanville overdrive. Equipment includes chrome 15″ Cragar five-spoke wheels, driving lights, chrome trim, front disc brakes, front bucket seats, an aftermarket stereo, Sony speakers, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a heater. This 1800S was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered in North Salem, New York, at no reserve with a clean Florida title.
The car was repainted under prior ownership in black metalflake and is equipped with chrome trim, driving lights with Hella covers, wrap-around front bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and front vent windows. Paint meter readings can be viewed in the gallery.
Chrome 15″ Cragar wheels are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires measuring 205/60 front and 215/60 rear and showing 2004 date codes. A matching spare wheel is stored in the trunk with a Solo-Tech tire. The car is equipped with an independent front suspension, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in tan leather, and interior appointments include a padded dashboard, a rear parcel shelf, an aftermarket stereo, Sony Xplod speakers, flow-through ventilation, and a heater.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and vertical gauges for coolant and oil temperatures. Auxiliary readouts for fuel level and oil pressure, as well as an analog clock, are centrally mounted on the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.0-liter B20 inline-four is equipped with twin Stromberg carburetors and wire-mesh air cleaners.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with Laycock de Normanville Type J overdrive.
