This 1973 Saab 99LE was sold new by Allred Brothers of Glendale, California, and it is said to have remained registered with its original owner in the state until it was acquired by the seller and relocated to Nevada in 2009. Subsequent work reportedly included the installation of 15″ Ronal Inca alloy wheels as well as overhauling the brake calipers and replacing the headliner, steering rack bushing, rack boots, brake rotors, fuel tank, fuel lines, and shock absorbers. Finished in Brilliant Yellow over replacement green cloth upholstery, the car is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a four-speed transaxle. Further equipment includes Bosch fuel injection, disc brakes, quad headlights, dual side mirrors, and an Alpine CD stereo linked with an amplifier and aftermarket speakers. This 99LE is now offered with owner’s manuals, a removed factory air conditioning system, spare wheels and parts, and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Brilliant Yellow (Y9H) and is equipped with quad headlights, dual side mirrors, pop-out rear windows, quarter panel vents, and impact bumpers. The cowl-mounted radio antenna is broken, there is a dent in the left-front fender, and additional photos of the exterior condition are viewable in the gallery below. A portion of the photos in the listing gallery were taken in 2022 and 2023.

Silver-finished 15″ Ronal Inca wheels were installed under current ownership, and they are wrapped in older Nexen tires. The seller states that KRB shock absorbers have been installed at all four corners along with slotted brake rotors. The hoses were replaced circa 2009 and additional work under current ownership included overhauling the brake calipers and fitting a replacement steering rack bushing and boots, according to the seller. A set of spare hubs, axles, and rotors are included in the sale. The car will require an alignment before road use.

The seating surfaces have been reupholstered in green cloth and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. The seller states that the headliner has been replaced, and additional appointments include manual crank windows, rubber floor mats, and an Alpine CD stereo linked with aftermarket speakers and an amplifier under the rear seat. Wear is visible on the left door cap. The factory under-dash air conditioning unit has been removed and is included in the sale.

A two-spoke steering wheel fronts a black dashboard with woodgrain trim, and VDO instrumentation includes a 110-mph speedometer, a retrofitted tachometer with an integrated clock, and supplementary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 63k miles, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership. The seller notes an issue with the odometer gear, and the total mileage is unknown. Wear is shown on the steering wheel.

The 2.0-liter B-series inline-four features Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection. Holes in the radiator and heater core were reportedly repaired, and the seller states that the fuel tank and lines were replaced in 2009. A remanufactured Bosch alternator and a replacement voltage regulator were installed approximately three years ago, according to the seller, and the fuel injectors are said to have recently been replaced. Leaks are noted from the heater control valve and coolant expansion tank, the fuel pump check valve is stuck in the open position and is blocked off, and drips are noted from various engine seals.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. A replacement exhaust system has been installed, and the seller states that the clutch master cylinder was replaced a few years ago.

An owner’s manual, two sets of keys, a set of spare steel wheels with Sears RoadHandler tires, and a collection of spare parts are included in the sale.
