This 2007 Volvo S60R was sold new in California and was relocated to Illinois in 2011 when it was acquired by the seller, who has added approximately 72k of its 84k miles. It is finished in Electric Silver Metallic over Nordkap leather and is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five linked with a six-speed automatic transaxle and a Haldex all-wheel-drive system. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, headlight wipers, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, Brembo brakes, 18″ Pegasus wheels, a Four-C adjustable suspension system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated power-adjustable front seats. A “groan” noise is emitted intermittently when the steering is turned to full lock.
The heated and power-adjustable front seats and the rear bench seat are upholstered in Nordkap leather. Interior elements include dual-zone climate control, cruise control, and a Dolby Pro-Logic II surround-sound system. The six-disc changer for the HU-850 AM/FM stereo is inoperative, the passenger side speakers work intermittently, the rearview mirror requires replacement, and wear is visible on the driver’s seat upholstery.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames silver-outlined blue-dial instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 84k miles, approximately 72k of which were added under current ownership. An airbag recall was performed, and at that time a non “R” branded cover was installed.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter DOHC inline-five was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. A Volvo-branded battery was installed in 2024, and the timing belt was replaced in October 2017, per the Carfax report.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transaxle and a Haldex all-wheel-drive system.
