This 1962 Saab 96 is an 841cc two-stroke car that stayed in Sweden with its original owner until 2004. The second owner purchased the car and brought it to Poland, where it stayed until the seller brought it to Spain a few months ago. This Saab is said to be unrestored apart from a repaint performed in 2005 while in Poland. The 5-digit odometer shows 59k kilometers (~37k miles) though it is believed to have rolled over once. The car is now located at the selling dealer in Denia, Spain, and they are able to facilitate shipping and export if desired. The original owner, a Mr. Hillborn of Tobo Sweden, kept this 96 for about 42 years. When the second owner purchased the car from him he found that it was well preserved with faded paint. Upon his purchase, the car was relocated to Poland, and it currently wears Polish EU plates. The seller notes some pitting on the chrome bumpers and hubcaps, and slight deterioration of the mirror glass. The trim and lighting are detailed in the gallery below. The cabin is said to unmodified, and the seller notes original seats, seat foam, and carpets are all still present. Switchgear and instruments are located behind a large bakelite steering wheel and are detailed by the seller. The odometer shows 59,362 kilometers (~37k miles) and is believed to have rolled over once. The car is powered by an 841cc three-cylinder two-stroke paired to a 3-speed column shifted manual. The second owner kept the car as part of a collection, and used it sparingly. When the seller acquired it, they changed the battery, oil and filter, in addition to performing some minor tuning. During their few months of ownership, the seller has added about 3,000 kilometers. The underside of the car is unrestored. The seller notes that some surface corrosion is present, but the car is free of rust-through or other perforations. The car has complete Polish paperwork, including the Karta Pojazdu (title) and Rejestracyjny (registration). The seller is able to facilitate export from Spain, and to US ports via a roll-on roll-off shipper in Valencia, Spain.
