This 1967 Volvo 122S has reportedly been in the same family since purchased by the seller’s uncle in 1969, and has spent the past 10 years in the seller’s possession. The car is finished in red over black vinyl and powered by a 1.8L inline-four paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. It has reportedly been driven little over the past decade, and service within the last month included carburetor rebuilds and brake repairs. This 122 is offered with spares, records, manuals, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name. The body was repainted in 1996, and the rear of the car was subsequently repaired after rolling into a tree approximately ten years ago. The seller notes a dent in the driver-side trim, corrosion on the chrome and near the right rear wheel arch, and a worn tail lamp seal. Factory 15″ steel wheels are painted grey and fitted with polished hubcaps as well as Nankang tires dating from 2008. Recent braking system work reportedly included installation of a new master cylinder. The interior is finished in black vinyl with a white headliner. The seats are from a later model and include headrests, and the seller states the upholstery is in need of repair. Speakers are mounted in the rear tray, though a stereo is not installed. A crack is visible in the dash pad. A pushbutton has been added for the starter, and the seller notes that the steering wheel rattles and the passenger window is off its track. The door and window seals are in need of replacement, as is the rubber floor covering. The 5-digit odometer shows approximately 57k miles. The 1.8L B18 inline-four is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Recent work is said to have included a tune-up and rebuilds of the dual SU carburetors. The fuel tank was replaced following the collision with the tree 10 years ago. Additional underbody photos can be seen in the gallery below. An assortment of spares is included in the sale along with service records and manuals. A driving video can be seen above.
