This 1967 Volvo 1800S is finished in orange over a black vinyl interior and is powered by a 2.0-liter B20 inline-four mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. The seller purchased the car in 2013 and has since adjusted the distributor and rebuilt the carburetors and the alternator. The brakes have also been serviced and the front wheels aligned. Panasport wheels and Bilstein shocks are fitted at all four corners, and the car is reported to be a nice driver on the road. This 2.0L-powered 1800S is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, spare wheel and jack, and a clean Oklahoma title in the seller’s name.
The body was originally finished Pearl White (79), as indicated by the information plate in the engine bay. Refinished in orange by a previous owner, the car features polished brightwork and is photographed in detail in the gallery below.
15″ Panasport wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Turanza tires showing 2013 date codes. The 1800S featured factory disc brakes up front and drums in back. The seller sourced a spare wheel, tire and jack in 2014. That same year, the front left disc brake was resurfaced, the wheel bearings were packed, and the front suspension was aligned.
The interior features bucket seats finished in black vinyl. The rear seat bench has been replaced with an extended parcel shelf upholstered in salt-and-pepper carpeting and equipped with two oval speakers.
The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather and the rear view mirror is mounted to the dashboard. The Sony CD headunit includes a remote and was added by seller in 2013. The speedometer was replaced in 2014 and true mileage is unknown.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter B20 inline-four from a later 1800S and is equipped with dual SU-carburetors. Receipts in the gallery show that the valves were adjusted in 2009. The seller rebuilt the carburetors and the alternator in 2014. That same year, the cylinder head and oil pan were tapped for new temperature sensors and the distributor was cleaned and adjusted.
The four-speed manual gearbox send power to a solid rear axle. Bilstein shocks are fitted at all four corners and additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery below.
Receipts in the gallery detail work completed after the seller acquired the car in late 2013.
