This 1964 Volvo PV544 is said to have undergone a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment circa 2013 and was acquired by its current owner in April 2021. The car is finished in red over a beige interior and is powered by a 1.8-liter B18 inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes dual Weber carburetors, chrome bumpers and trim, 15″ wheels with chrome hubcaps and trim rings, drum brakes, adjustable front bucket seats, a padded dashboard top, and a vintage-style digital radio. This PV544 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with parts and service receipts, period literature, and a clean Ohio title in the owner’s name.
The car was reportedly refinished in its current shade of red under prior ownership in 2013. Features include chrome bumpers with overrider bars, a left side mirror, horizontal side trim, 544 and B18 badging, front and rear mudflaps, and a polished twin-tip exhaust outlet.
Body-colored 15″ steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and trim rings wear 165-series Firestone F-560 tires. A covered spare is housed in the trunk. Braking is provided by a drum at all four corners.
The interior features front bucket seats upholstered in beige vinyl with fabric inserts along with a color-coordinated rear bench seat and door panels. Red carpeting is protected by black floor mats, and appointments include a padded black dashboard top, three-point front seat belts, a heater, vent windows, a locking glovebox, and a vintage-style digital radio.
A black two-spoke steering wheel is mounted ahead of a body-colored dashboard housing a 120-mph ribbon-style speedometer and gauges for temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles.
The 1.8-liter OHV inline-four was fitted with dual Weber carburetors under current ownership and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
