This 1971 Volvo 1800E was initially sold at Immer & Oswald Volvo of Gladstone, Oregon, and is said to have remained registered in the state. It is finished in Safari Yellow over black leather and powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four linked to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, IPD sway bars, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ Clover wheels, and a Sony cassette stereo. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this 1800E shows 125k miles and is offered with an owner’s manual, an initial purchase document, service records, and a clean Oregon title.

The car was finished from the factory in Safari Yellow (100), and the seller reports that the front end was repainted under previous ownership. Exterior details include wrap-around bumpers, chrome trim, vent windows, a left side mirror, and twin exhaust outlets. There is a dent on the right rear quarter panel along with dings on the bodyside moldings, paint chips on the front end, and failing clearcoat on the hood and left front fender.

The 15″ Clover wheels are mounted with 165-series Michelin XZX tires in preparation for the sale. The car is equipped with an independent front suspension and IPD front and rear sway bars. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black leather, and interior appointments include a padded dashboard, a rear parcel shelf, a heated rear window, a locking center console, and a Sony cassette stereo. There is rust along the edge of the right door.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears a wrap and frames Smiths instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil and coolant temperature. Readouts for oil pressure and fuel level reside centrally on the dash along with an inoperative analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows 125k miles.

The 2.0-liter B20E inline-four is equipped with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 130 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs, battery, and fuel tank, sending unit, pump, and filter were replaced in February 2024. Recent service reportedly involved rebuilding the fuel injectors and changing the fuel pressure regulator. The selling dealer notes a previous rust repair to the battery tray.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
