This 1975 Volvo C303 4×4 is a five-door hardtop model that was purchased by the selling dealer and imported to the US in 2024. Subsequent work involved replacing the fuel tank, fuel lines, battery, and tires as well as fitting an awning, a first aid kit, and a jerry can. The truck is finished in a multi-tone camouflage, and power is from a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Features include a roof hatch, a side-mounted folding table, traction boards, portal axles, locking differentials, and rear jump seats. This C303 is now offered by the selling dealer with removable armrests, a shop manual, and a clean Washington title.
The hardtop body is finished in a drab green, brown, and black camouflage paint scheme. A folding table is secured to the left side along with a pair of Actiontrax traction boards, and other exterior details include an Ostrich Wing canvas awning, tilt-out windshield panels, a pintle hitch, and a Dometic jerry can mounted on the tail panel. Gallery photos show scratches and other blemishes on the body panels.
Green eight-lug 16″ wheels wear 315/75 Kanati Mud Hog tires that the seller tells us were mounted under current ownership, and a matching spare is secured at the rear. The truck rides on leaf springs, and stopping power is from drum brakes.
The cab houses a pair of seats upholstered in gray cloth with green vinyl trim. Features include a Milwaukee cup holder and tumbler, sun visors, a heater, a document tray, shoulder belts, and storage cubbies. A pair of fabricated armrests will accompany the truck and are for use when the doors are removed.
The instrument panel houses accessory switches and a 100 km/h speedometer along with gauges for fuel level and engine temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 22k kilometers (~14k miles), approximately 1k of which were added during current ownership.
Two rear-facing and three forward-facing jump seats are located in the rear compartment, and a hatch with a hinged cover is positioned overhead. An ax and a first aid kit are secured to the inside of the cargo area door.
The 3.0-liter Volvo B30A inline-six is situated between the front seats, and factory-rated output was 117 horsepower and 152 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale included installing a replacement aluminum fuel tank, changing the oil, and replacing the fuel lines, fuel filter, and battery.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox, a two-speed transfer case, locking differentials, and portal axles.
The truck is titled in Washington under VIN C034X4000478, which comprises the first six digits of the Type followed by “000” and the chassis number, as shown on the tag pictured above.
