This 1973 Volvo 1800ES is a largely disassembled project car which was acquired by the seller earlier this year. A partially overhauled 2.0L B20 inline-four remains in pieces but is included in the sale along with a hood, exterior trim, several windows, and interior parts. The car is offered at no reserve with older service records and a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name. The body was reportedly hit in 2007 and subsequently repaired by the previous owner using replacement metal from a donor 1800ES. Corrosion is present around the floors, rockers, and rear hatch surround. A windshield remains installed and rear quarter windows and hatch accompany the car. The project sits high on a set of aftermarket chrome wheels. Photos of the included lights, bumpers, and trim are provided below. Much of the interior has been removed with the exception of the dash, gauges, steering wheel, pedals, and front seats. Approximately 77k miles are shown on the odometer, though actual chassis mileage is unknown. A previous owner began rebuilding the B20 inline-four and had the block cleaned and refurbished. Drivetrain components known to be missing include the stock 3-speed automatic transmission and Bosch fuel injection system. Photos of the car prior to disassembly are included in the sale along with older service receipts.
