This 1993 Saab 900 Turbo is one of 314 Commemorative Edition 3-door coupes sold in the US market for the model year, all of which were finished in black over a tan leather interior. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0L 16-valve four mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and the seller has added approximately 6k miles since purchasing the car in 2016. Paintwork and rust repair has been carried out during that period, and mechanical maintenance included replacing the clutch and installing new brakes, spark plugs, driveshaft boots, engine mounts, and more as described below. This Saab is now being offered at no reserve with service records, a clean AutoCheck report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the name of the seller’s father. The car is finished in black with black lower body cladding, bumpers, and trim. Cosmetic work performed under the seller’s ownership included rust repair along with new paint on the right-front fender and hood. The lower trim displays fading, and imperfections are visible around the trunk lid, left rear fender, and front bumper as shown in the gallery. New calipers, rotors, pads, and lines have been fitted at each corner by the seller, and the brake system has been flushed and refilled with fresh fluid. Sabb’s SPG suspension package was equipped on the Commemorative Edition models, as were the 15″ directional alloy wheels. The cabin is trimmed in tan leather upholstery with matching carpets, two-tone dashboard, and a burled wood instrument panel overlay. The seller notes the recent installation of sound deadening material throughout the cabin, as well as new A/C lines and a recharge of the R12 refrigerant. A Sony head unit has been added. Noted flaws include a cracked dash top under the carpeted cover, stained floor mats, and illuminated ABS and SRS lights. A plaque just forward of the shift lever indicates the car is #284 of 325 examples produced, though the Saab 900T Commemorative Edition Master VIN List confirms only 314 were actually built. The odometer shows 170k miles, about 6k of which have been added by the seller. The turbocharged 2.0L inline-four in the Commemorative Edition was fitted with Saab’s APC “red box” fuel management controller along with a higher pressure fuel regulator and enhanced vacuum advance distributor. The resulting 185 horsepower is sent to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. Per the seller, maintenance completed during his ownership included an oil/filter change, new spark plugs, new engine mounts, driveshaft boots, a new clutch, and slave cylinder. A new factory exhaust system has reportedly been installed, and the front driveshaft tunnels were replaced with new steel panels due to corrosion. Several gallery photos show the chassis, underbody, and suspension components. Service records are included in the sale along with the factory books and manuals. The AutoCheck report shows the car has been registered in Pennsylvania since new, with no reports of accidents or damage repair.
