This 1968 Saab 95 is said to have been professionally restored 25 years and less than 23k miles ago, and its baked-enamel exterior and claimed-original interior still present very well. Sale includes complete service documentation dating back to new, and the factory Ford-sourced V4 lives in an unusually tidy engine bay. The seller says they’ve owned the car for more than a decade now, adding that maintenance has been a priority and that it’s ready to drive anywhere. Find it here on saabnet in Spokane, Washington for $14,300. Special thanks to BaT reader Michael R. for this submission. These wagon 95’s are arguably even funkier looking than their 96 two-door cousins, and this one looks sharp from stem to stern with straight panels and a likely factory-correct shade of powder blue enamel. Wheels are described as “extremely rare” Saab/Ronal items wrapped with Dunlop rubber, and they suit the car very well. Taillights appear to be UV-damaged, but other angles show this is because of a reflection–all lenses show very well in this gallery. Have there ever been a cooler set of factory mudflaps? Says the seller: “Very well maintained and mechanically solid 95 wagon. Extremely rare Saab/Ronal wheels with Dunlop D60 A2 tires, Weber 2-bbl carburetor, Koni shocks in the front and rear, Pertronix electronic ignition, electric radiator fan, operable freewheel clutch, original interior, baked-enamel paint. Professionally restored 25 years ago and <23k miles driven since restoration. Complete service documentation since 1968. Many extra parts included.” Continued from the ad: “I have owned this car for over a decade and have babied it, keeping up on every aspect of maintenance and wouldn’t hesitate to drive it anywhere. Beautiful car all around with only a couple of minor cosmetic issues. Rust-free, accident-free, never driven in the rain nor in congested traffic and always garaged.” The engine bay is about the cleanest looking we’ve seen in an old V4 Saab, and the working freewheel feature is noteworthy.
